eGlobal Solutions was pleased to see George Niece leading the charge as the WebSphere Commerce Architect. This migration from V6 to WebSphere Commerce V7, with Endeca migration and PageBuilder implementation, was code complete in August and is expected to go live in January 2012. Key features such as the use of migration of Mobile, Checkout, Infrastructure Auditing, Deployment metrics, WebSphere Extreme Scale for Dynacache storage were all key deliverables in this huge lift and shift effort.

This migration from Amazon to WebSphere Commerce V7, with Sterling OMS and Active-Active configuration, was code complete in January and went live in August 2011 completing a 10 year run on Amazon for the Target.com website. Performance tuning, WebSphere Commerce optimization, and the use of WebSphere Extreme Scale for real-time inventory data storage were designed and developed.
